Anne Buckwalter is the recipient of a 2020-2021 Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, a 2020 Idea Fund Grant, and a 2016 Joan Mitchell Foundation Emerging Artist Grant. She received an MFA from Maine College of Art, Portland, ME and a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, PA. Buckwalter has been an artist-in-residence at the Galveston Artist Residency, Vermont Studio Center, Studios at Mass MoCA, Hewnoaks Artist Colony, and Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. The artist’s exhibition history includes the Portland Museum of Art, Portland, ME; Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia, PA; Boston University Gallery, Boston, MA; The Painting Center, New York, NY, and others. Buckwalter currently lives and works in Maine.

George Condo (b. 1957, Concord, NH) received a BFA at Lowell University and an MA in 1978. The award-winning artist has been recognized as a BOMB 37th Anniversary Gala Honorees and a New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture Honoree. He has also won the Francis J. Greenburger Foundation Award in 2005 and the Academy Award in Art from the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 1999. Condo has held recent solo exhibitions at the 2019 Venice Biennale; Museum of Cycladic Art, Athens, Greece; Maritime Museum, Hong Kong; Sotheby’s S|2, Hong Kong; Museum Berggruen, Berlin, GE; Tate Modern, London, UK; and New Museum, New York, NY. R. Crumb (b. 1943, Philadelphia, PA) is an American cartoonist presently living and working in Sauve, France. Hulda Guzmán (b. 1984, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) received a BA from Altos de Chavón School of Design in the Dominican Republic and went on to study photography and mural painting at the National School of Visual Arts, Mexico. Scott Kahn (b. 1946, Springfield, Massachusetts) received his BA from University of Pennsylvania and an MFA from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. Susumu Kamijo (b. 1975, Nagano, Japan) received a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Oregon in 2000, followed by an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Washington in 2002. Kate Klingbeil (b. 1990, Grosse Pointe, MI) received a BFA in Printmaking from the California College of the Arts, Oakland, CA, in 2012. Solo and two-person exhibitions of Klingbeil’s works have been held at Steve Turner, Los Angeles, CA; Hesse Flatow, New York, NY; Spring/Break Art Show, New York, NY; Monya Rowe Gallery, New York, NY; Mana Contemporary, Jersey City, NJ; and Hashimoto Contemporary, San Francisco, CA, among others. Ed Ruscha (b. 1937, Omaha, NE) was educated at Chouinard Art Institute, Los Angeles, CA in 1960. The artist is the recipient of numerous awards, grants, and fellowships including: the Artistic Excellence Award from Americans for the Arts in 2009, the Governor’s Award for the Arts for Achievement in Visual Arts Award from California Arts Council in 1995, National Endowment for the Arts Grant in 1978 and 1969, and the Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship in 1971. Ruscha represented the United States at the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005. Anna Valdez (b. 1985, California, US) received a BA in Anthropology and Art from the University of California, Davis and an MFA in Painting from Boston University.
